1. For Bitmap/Photo images - Resolution at 300 ppi:
Images should be created and saved at a resolution of 300 ppi (pixels per inch) and to the size the image will be printed. Enlargements
of your file can cause poor image quality
(Note: Web site images are created at 72 ppi - low resolution images don't print well).
2. The maximum size for Photo Prints is 11.25" x 17":
It is always best to specify the size that the final image area should be, even if you save the file to size.
3. Convert text to curves:
For vector files, please convert all text to curves before sending the file. For Photoshop files, please rasterize/render all type layers
before sending the file.
4. Color/Mode should be CMYK (process):
Digital Prints are printed in CMYK process colors (not spot colors like our screen printed transfers). Not all RGB colors can be
rendered in CMYK, therefore, you should convert the file before sending your file (Note: Images on web sites are usually created in
RGB colors).
5. Special effects, fades, etc. can be used:
Our Digital Prints can reproduce multi-color fades and other special effects within your artwork. All fades, colors, effects, etc., should
be set up in process CMYK colors.
6. Sending Digital Prints artwork:
Artwork can be sent through our website or on disk. However, most bitmap Photo Prints files set at a high resolution (300 ppi) will be
large in file size. Unless you have a high speed connection, you may want to send high resolution images through standard postal mail
on CD or Zip disk.
7. Support your file with a printed copy of your artwork:
This will be used to ensure that the transmitted file is exactly what you were trying to transmit. If you include a printed color copy, we will
match that artwork the best we can from your file. If you do not include a printed color copy of the artwork, we will print the artwork
directly from your file with no adjustments.
